Hot dog - Old-fashioned Knacks / A quick and easy recipe to prepare!
Fry the sliced onions in a little oil or butter and brown them.
Meanwhile, heat the Philippe Wagner Knacks in simmering water for about 5 minutes.
Add a little white sugar (to taste) to caramelize the onions and a tablespoon of ketchup to bind the preparation.
Open the hot dog buns lengthwise and grill for 2 minutes on the flat side.
Spread the melting onions on the buns with the sauce and a little mustard to taste. Add one knack per bun and close the hot dog.
It's ready! You can eat it alone, add sliced pickles, accompany it with green salad, coleslaw or fries!
It can be declined endlessly: with mayonnaise, cooked sauerkraut, chili sauce ... it pleases everyone, young and old!
