Philippe WAGNER PGI Morteau sausage is made with the best ingredients. The Philippe Wagner Morteau sausage comes from our region, is PGI certified, our regional recipe without nitrite and its slow natural smoking, with resinous wood, gives it its typical colour. It is embossed by hand and made from the best whey-fed pig meat, mainly from the Haute-Saône region.
First of all, we appreciate its beautiful amber colour and its subtle aroma. When cut, it has a thick grain and a soft, juicy, bound texture. The absence of nitrite explains its pale grey colour: a natural colour of meat to be cooked.
